NSS

NSS has been functioning as a regular feature in the realm of our college education. The overall objective of the scheme is educational and service to the community is the activity through which the objective is sought to be achieved. It is a student-cantered program in which projects are implemented by the NSS volunteers in the community in close collaboration with the community and thereby it provides vast scope for the student's interaction with the people.

N.S.S has enriched the student's souls and minds. The overall objective of this scheme is Education and Service to the community and by the community. It's students' programme where we cater to the need of the community, as and when required, It will also help the students to communicate with the society. Student develops many skills and learns how to behave and interact with different kinds of people. The students go to the rural areas and try to develop a Technocratic Environment and help the underprivileged people to develop themselves.

Special Camp

Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandirs Arts, Science and Commerce College, Manmad and University of Pune jointly organized Special Camp for seven days in 2012-13. Principal Dr. Harish Adake inaugurated the NSS programme on 3rd August 2013 and shared his precious thoughts among volunteers.

Awarenwss

A rally was arranged jointly with Lions Club, Manmad on the issues Female Foeticide, Superstition eradication programme.

Essay Competition

on the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, NSS has arranged an essay competition for students on "Gandhi Vichar Ani Bharat" and "College in my Dream".

Swaranjali- Yuva Mahotsawa

It was celebrated from 23rd to 29th December 2012. On this occasion Principal Dr. Harish Adake enlighten the volunteers on the topic "Thaughts of Swami Vivekananda and today's youth" a galaxy of scholars including Vice Principal, Dr. D.G. Jadhav and Shri Girish Joshi, (News Paper Reporter) remained present on the occasion.
