Ambience creates the minds activated. Our spacious and well-furnished state of the art auditorium having a seating capacity of more than 250 students hosts various guest lectures, seminars, pre-placement talks, workshops and other cultural activities. Latest audio-visual facilities like LCD projector, overhead projector complement the various events conducted in the auditorium by luminaries invited from the industry and academics.

The Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir’s Institute of Management and Research Library was established in 1994. The MGV”S IMR Library was enabled to grow their position from the year of 1994. It is one of the Leading Institutional Library in MGV”S Campus, Panchavati, Nashik. The Library is start to growing and develops their collections under the guidance of Governing Body and the Board of Directors. It caters the academic needs of students, researchers, faculty and other user groups of Mgv’s. The main aim of Library is to support to the Institution in fulfilling it’s Academic duties and to further progress of knowledge and creativity for the benefit of MGV’s IMR and other users of MGV’s.

The Institute´s Library is well furnished with numerous reference and text books related to all core areas of management. Total number of books are more than 4500 , out of which unique titles are more than 2200.The Institute also subscribes to 40 national and 8 internarional journals , periodicals and catalogues covering the various aspects of management. Reading room facilities are made available for the students. Knowledge is power and with this objective the Institute is continually adding the latest textbooks, reference books and management journals as per the suggestions of the faculty and students from time to time.

2.5 Library Rules :

  • Books will be issued as per the Time Table displayed.
  • Every student must produce his/her Identity Card while borrowing the Books.
  • Maximum No of three books will be issued for 7 Days only
  • Only one Magazines/Periodicals/Journals will be Issued for 5 Days only.
  • Only one project report will be issued for 15 days.
  • The reader should thoroughly physically check Books/Periodicals/Project Report for any torn missing page before leaving the circulation counter. No excuses/complaints will be entertained in this regard later, and the student will be held responsible and the cost will be recovered.
  • Current Magazine/Periodicals/ Journals will be issued only for the Library Reference.
  • If the student wants to renew the same book request for renewal of any book will be considered only after seeing the availability and the demand for the same.
  • Students may refer the Reference Books, Study Room Copy, Periodical and Magazines during their Library hours in the Library after signing the Library Attendance Register.
  • Books Issued on Identity Cards or Study Room copies, Must be returned in Time on the Same Day, Maximum by 4:00 P.M.
  • Issued Books must be returned within 7 Days, otherwise a Fine of Rs. 5/- Per Day per Book will be charged.
  • The student will have to pay Fine of Rs. 20/- in case of Damage or Replacement of Library Book.
  • If the book is lost or gets mutilated, the concerned student has to pay 1 ½ time of the original price of book.
  • Tube Lights, Fans should be Switched Off before Leaving the Library.
  • Outsiders are not permitted in Library without permission.
  • Do not disturb Order of the Books in the Cupboards or Racks.
  • Student must keep their Bags, Jacket, Umbrella etc, on the Rack before entering the library.
  • All Books should be returned within one week after the end of University Exam of each Semester.
  • Silence must be maintained in Library.
  • Users of Library and Visitors must strictly follow all the Rules of Library.
  • Uses of mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the Library. Any student found using mobile phone will be fined for Rs 25/- , if observed by the committee members.
  • Every one entering in the Library should enter his/her name in the register kept at the counter
  • Library's photocopying is allowed as permitted by Director.

2.7 Collection of Library :

Library is an invaluable resource for students, researchers and faculties of business and management.

 


3. Computer Lab :


The College has a well-equipped Computer Laboratory with 51 highly configured computer systems , with 10 printers some of those are All in One printers , Laptops, LCD and Broadband of capacity of 2.0 mbps . All are connected in a centralised LAN .The computer lab is provided to the students for project work, power point presentations and surfing to keep them updated to face the competitive world. We are focusing on the Wi-fi system for the campus.



4. Hostel :


The campus is the hub of student’s life especially for those who are not localities. For them, IMR provides hostel accommodation separate for boys and girls. All the rooms are well furnished and care is taken towards maintaining security and cleanliness. The in-house mess caters to the need of all the students. Other facilities provided are laundry, banking, telephone with STD and ISD, television, medical attention and pharmacy store and gymnasium.

5. Gymkhana / Playground :

The campus has huge playground. students enjoy playing football, vallyball, Cricket etc. on the ground. It is well maintained and equiped for the use of students.
